Apples have always been at the heart of Luscombe, cider has always been pressed and fermented there since the 12th century.
In 1950 the current owner, Julian David wanted to rejuvenate Luscombe’s cider pressing heritage and started producing cider and selling it direct from the farm.
In 1997, Gabriel David returned from travelling around Sicily and joined his father in the family business. Keen to bring in his influences of the evocative flavours experienced during his travels a range of soft drinks was inspired.
From there came the range of organic drinks entirely free from concentrates, additives, preservatives, artificial flavours or enhancers. Their extensive range includes refreshing fruit drinks, crushes, bubblies and tonic’s.
We have to say we are addicted to the Damascene Rose Bubbly, perfect for designated driver nights or the slightly sparkling Raspberry crush or even better mix with Gin for a fancy boozy tipple.
Their Devon Apple Juice is made entirely from pressed Devon Apples, pair it with a cheese board for a fruity little number or if you like it hot try the Ginger beer or the fiery Ginger Beer to really turn up the heat.
