This little gem was discovered whilst out cycling in the Lakes and the weather turned for the worst, so we headed to Keswick to seek refuge in a local coffee shop and came across a small farmers market.
The company was set up by Bryan Mol who was born and raised in South Africa and spent his youth playing sport when in 2003 rugby union opened up a to move to the UK.
Soon he became homesick for some real, good quality Biltong, so in order to cure the craving he would buy some off the supermarket shelf, but it didn’t do justice to the real thing.
He started with one unit to make Biltong for himself and his friends but due to demand and the word spreading he now runs multiple units enabling him to share Lake District Biltong providing a taste of Africa, but made in Cumbria.
This healthy high protein snack is made from the best quality Cumbrian Silverside and really packs a punch in the flavour department
